No one can resist the allure of BACON!

A Muslim who claimed he was forced to cook pork products has lost his discrimination lawsuit against Scotland Yard after it was discovered he enjoys a good bacon roll.

It really is true – Bacon makes everything better (and yes, Bacon should always be capitalized.  Always.).

Mmmmmmmm.  Cupcakes.

Understandable mistake by the anti-American CBC.  Guess someone needs to brush up on their French – rouge, rogue – all the same, eh?

New Orleans is the epitome of a welfare state – full of people who will sit on their butts all day, waiting for their checks, and always wanting more, more, more in the form of free handouts.  So it shouldn’t be any surprise that the only Republican (rotflol) to vote for Pelosicare represents them.

Almost no chance Cao will be voted out of office – all you have to do is promise many of the residents of NOLA something for free, and they’ll follow you anywhere.  If by “follow” you mean hold their hands out and scream loudly that whatever you’re doing for them, it isn’t enough.  And yes, I get to have these opinions because I lived in Louisiana for 10 years and watched my tax dollars get poured down the drain on NOLA.

I do miss King Cake, however.

But being shot by one was apparently ok.  Or at least massively ironic, on a universal scale.

Nice to see the Wee King Charlie now gets his talking points (with Extra Snark!) from dKos.

Funny – 1993 doesn’t seem like >100 years ago.

Somehow birtherblogger Charles doesn’t find time to comment on the NJ and Virgina outcomes.  Interesting, that.

Scazzafava, after dropping out of the NY23 race, endorses her liberal Democrat opponent.  I suppose bird’s of a feather do flock together, eh?  Notice the part about her “long-time labor activist husband” – which part of “not a Republican” do Newt Gingrich and the NRCC not understand?  I don’t need social conservatism in a candidate – in fact I think the extremists driving the far right social aspects of the party are a huge problem for the survival of conservatism in the US.  But someone in the Republican leadership better wake up to the fact that fiscal conservatives in the US are mad – and only going to get madder if their concerns continue to be ignored and belittled.

The problem, of course, is a repeat of the Perot phenomenon – fiscal conservatives and RINOs split the vote, and we get Clinton-like candidates winning races they would have otherwise lost.  A huge problem, to be sure – but one that has to be dealt with if the Republican party is going to be a viable entity moving forward.  How does Obama become a 2 term president?  Split the “conservative” vote is how.

Update:  From unofficial to official endorsement for her Democratic opponent against the 3rd party candidate.

In this case, does “speaking truth to power” translate into “telling ourselves what we want to hear”?  I mean, you can’t really speak truth to power when you ARE the power, right?  This is the whiniest, most petty White House administration ever.

Crazy far-left birther-blogger* Charles Johnson continues in his efforts to smear Rush Limbaugh, doubling down with his “fake but accurate” defense. Dan rather must be so proud – and a little bewildered by why CJ sees this as an acceptable defense for the Limbaugh quotes after busting his balls for using it in the Bush TANG document forgeries.

Johnson’s nasty attacks on all of his “enemies” smell of either outright hatred or rank desperation.  Either he needs to generate hits badly, so he chooses topics that he knows will draw angry eyes to his site.  Or, as evidenced by his attacks on HotAir – that break-up was far nastier than we outsiders know, and Johnson is revenging like a jilted lover.

Funniest is – one of his sycophants posted racist comments in a HotAir thread – to “prove”, of course, that it’s a racist website.  When the comments weren’t immediately removed – well, you know, that just shows that it’s a racist site.  And stuff.  Wee King Charlie distanced himself from Kilgore’s on-line antics (gotta maintain plausible deniablity, don’t ya know), but opined that, even though HE wouldn’t have done it – it certainly proved what an awful site HotAir is.  And now he has a “daily” feature where he points out the most hateful and egregious examples of…something…from the HotAir comments threads – how pathetic is that?

Even more pathetic – instead of actually offering any new content – it’s become the 24 hour a day “pity party” – where he looks for on-line insults, real and perceived, and tries to muster sympathy from his 0n-line community of like minded travelers – sympathy that of course flows forth like sweet, sweet mother’s milk.  Primarily because anyone that disagrees with Charles (or even downclicks one of his posts) is banned.  So Wee King Charlie has created an on-line community of people who agree with him – or else.

It’s a sad state of affairs for a blogger that a lot of us admired and respected for his work in Rathergate and the fauxtography scandals.

*Don’t believe CJ’s a birther?  Then why else would he blog this?

“Is Obama a Citizen of the US?  Why won’t Barack Obama release his birth certificate?”

Remember – in the game of LGF  cherry pick and condemn by association – all that matters is that it can be attributed to Charles Johnson – not whether there is any context, or even any words or thoughts that contribute to your understanding of the statement.  The ability to positively attribute the words is more of a courtesy than he gives to others.  And as for those racist comments posted by Killgore Trout – well, in a couple of years we should be able to use those as concrete evidence of his racism, since we can again attribute those words directly to him.  Words and tactics that Charles Johnson endorsed – so draw your own conclusions – *wink wink nudge nudge*.  See how the game is played?
